Company of the Year Finalist - Kent Business Awards 2008
5 Star Computer Systems, one of the UK's leading providers of integrated business management solutions, financial & accounting software, CRM, networking and IT training solutions services companies, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of three finalists for the Kent Small & Medium Sized Company of the Year 2008, sponsored by Business Link Kent.
According to Graham Web, Chairman for the Judges, "Kent is a county of business entrepreneurs. Winning an award is a seal of quality that impresses your existing clients and customers and helps to attract new ones." The award is open to any business which has fewer than 100 employees and is based in, or conducts the majority of its activities from the administrative authorities of Kent and Medway. Of 41 entrants, 5 Star has been chosen in the top three, an achievement in itself and recognition of the standard it achieves for its highly regarded personnel and valued clients.
"Being one of the three finalists for the Kent Company of the Year is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection on the commitment and contribution of our team over the past 12 months. We're honoured that we've been chosen," said Andrew Clarke, Managing Director of 5 Star upon learning the news from Tony Budden, Head of Marketing for Business Link.
5 Star will be on Stand LLL3 at the Kent 2020 Vision '08 Event held in Detling Fairgrounds, Maidstone on Thursday, 3 April 2008. Andrew will be taking part in a panel session on stage between 11:20-11:40 to answer questions about what makes 5 Star a great business. The winner is selected by a secret ballot of businesses attending this session at Kent 2020. The winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner on 12 June 2008.
