Exchequer Security Module
Virtually every option and button within Exchequer can be password-controlled, providing you with the ultimate security options. Rather than being 'greyed-out' in menus, options will simply disappear completely from view if a user does not have access. So the security of your accounting can be as tightly controlled as possible: more people within your organisation can access the system, yet you can protect selected parts or make them 'invisible' to unauthorised users.
Enhanced Security
High and transparent levels of security add to the flexibility that Exchequer offers as an accounting and business software system. The Enhanced Security and User Profile element of Exchequer enables users to:
- Manage default values such as Cost Centres and Departments to aid the speed of data entry
- Provide an individual with their own designated printer rather than Exchequer always selecting the system printer
- Provide a user with their own individual fax/email signature for documents sent via the Paperless module from Exchequer
- Offer individual users the flexibility of locking their workstation after a set period of inactivity ? thereby securing the information on-screen
- Define rules of precedence for Cost Centres, Departments, Locations - which determine where the default values are derived from
